(1)What is multimedia?
My answer : The multimedia is the
use of computer to present text , graphics, video, animation, and sound in an
composite way.
(2)Why we choose multimedia to
assist English teaching?
My answer : Because of the
multimedia has some advantages for the students.
-Arousing the students’ interest.
Using the multimedia makes the
students interested in the study because “ interest is the best teacher” when
the students learn whatever they are interested. It will be easy to understand
the lesson in the class.
-Improving students’ innovation
ability.
In
teaching, the teachers should pay attention to tap the imagination of
students because of the imagination is more important than knowledge. Finally,
the students can achieve their desire from using multimedia.
-Cultivating students’ communication
skills.
The students can create real life
scenes in the classroom that it gives the students the opportunity to use
English to communicate.
On the other hand, it has some
disadvantages such as,
-Over-use of multimedia.
-Confusion
Sometimes, the students ignore the
role of the teachers. They just focus their computer so, this is the problem of
using multimedia.
(3) How to make good use of
multimedia?
My answer : -Combining modern
teaching medthods with traditional teaching medthods.
-Viewing multimedia as the
assistance to teaching.
-Building the ideal relationship
between teachers and students.
